American actor Garret Lee Dillahunt was born on November 24, 1964.
His work in television is best known for his portrayal of Burt Chance in the Fox sitcom Raising Hope, for which he received a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
Dillahunt played Steve Curtis on ER for three seasons (2005–06). Later, he appeared in roles such as Dr. Michael Smith on HBO’s John from Cincinnati, Cromartie, John Henry, and George Laszlo on FOX’s Terminator:
The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Roman Novikov, a Russian gangster, on NBC’s Life, and Mason Turner, a paralyzed serial killer, on Criminal Minds. He played Simon Escher in the Burn Notice third season finale, which aired on March 4, 2010. In the fourth and seventh seasons of the show, he later made a comeback.
