(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The live concert recording division of Live Nation, Instant Live, is now producing live albums in SRS Circle Surround 5.1, with many of the tracks available as digital downloads through Napster.

Fans now have the option to pre-order from Instant Live’s website at www.instantlive.com, and receive their CDs immediately after the show, have CDs shipped directly to their home or order the CD days after the concert. The CDs are also available from the individual artists’ web site, and participating retailers nationwide, according to Billboard.

Concert-goers will also have the option of purchasing digital tracks through Napster.

SRS Circle Surround is an advanced multichannel encode/decode system that allows full bandwidth surround sound to be stored, transmitted, or delivered in stereo over any two-channel carrier such as standard CDs. Circle Surround CDs play in stereo on a plain CD player and in full 5.1 channel surround sound on any matrix surround compatible home theater or automotive receiver.

Instant live entered a deal with Universal Music Group last year, the first between a major label and a concert CD firm, which cleared the way for Instant Live to deliver live CDs and digital downloads of UMG acts immediately following shows.
